Ethics in Motion: E-bike Commotion!

The forest is under immense pressure to provide recreational experiences for everyone, and the impacts are taking a toll. But when is enough, enough? Can we share the forest with wildlife, or even each other?
JOYA SZALWINSKI, is a Recreation Staff Officer with the US Fish & Wildlife Service Lakeside District within the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest.
Her presentation will inform visitors to the policies and regulations regarding the use of e-bikes – where they are legal and where they are not – and the current challenges trying to stay ahead of evolving technology and its place in the forest. Will we keep wildlife wild? Will Nature rule?
